(Two Weeks D or E Block)

 (One Week D/E Hybrid)

During this time you will be introduced to the following:

​

• Tool Basics

• ID Shop Tools

• Measuring Workshop

• Fasteners

​

After you have become familiar with the information and have practiced you will verbally and practically:

​

• Identify how to turn on and off a power tool safely.  

• Change out a bit, saw blade and/or other parts. 

• Show correct PPE.

• Identify different measurements.

• Identify sheet goods

• Identify dimensional lumber

• Identify stock scenery

• Show knowledge of how to do a:

  • Rip

  • Cross Cut

  • Miter Cut

  • Shape

• Show knowledge of how to:

  • Drill a hole

  • Drive a screw

  • Use a level
