You will be responsible for the following project work that you will be assigned in class. It will be expected that you will memorize it after it is assigned.

Reading Assignment:
By the end of the week, Friday beginning of class, please read pgs 18-35 ALAB and 58-93 of GAT. Since the reading of ALAB is a review please focus on answering one of the following prompts from the GAT for a class presentation:

Who is Chekov and how did he differ from Stanislavki in his acting style?

Who is Meyerhold and how did he differ from Stanislavki in his acting style?

After reading about The American Revolution in Theater please explain how the Group Theater was founded and identify three important acting teachers who branched out to create their own methods.
Oral Report Assessment
Your presentation will be in the manner of an oral report. We will discuss the style that it can be presented in. Also, you will need to present three additional sources for your research. Please review the Oral Report Rubric to understand what you will be assessed on. Your report can be no longer then five minutes.
