Reading Assignment:
By the end of the week, Friday beginning of class, please read pgs 1-18 ALAB and 1-58 of GAT. Since the reading of ALAB is a review please focus on answering the following prompts from the GAT for a class presentation. The day will be assigned. Use the following prompts:

 

  • Who is Quintilian and explain his importance in the world of acting.

  • Who is Delsarte and explain his method and importance in the world of acting.

  • Who is Stanislavki and explain his method. What words of his can you identify that we use in our acting classes?


Your presentation will be in the manner of an oral report. We will discuss the style that it can be presented in. Also, you will need to present three additional sources for your research. Your report can be no longer then five minutes. Please review the Oral Report Rubric found at the link below to understand what you will be assessed on.
