Project Work:
You will be assigned a scene that you will research and prepare for directing. Think about using the following as your guide for your written submission:

Read the script three to four times
-
Identify and label the script using Fryetag’s Pyramid
-
Do appropriate research regarding time frame and style of piece.

Write out how you imagine the scene being performed on stage or in film.
Assessment:
You will pass in your written work and receive a verbal assessment from the instructor.
Reading Assignment:
By the end of the week, Friday beginning of class, please read pg 163-170, 235-279. Since the reading of ALAB is a review please focus on answering one of the following prompts from the GAT for a class presentation:

Share out what are the steps to a rehearsal process.

What are differences between rehearsing for a commercial, episodic TV, movie and theatrical piece?
Oral Report Assessment
Your presentation will be in the manner of an oral report. We will discuss the style that it can be presented in. Also, you will need to present three additional sources for your research. Please review the Oral Report Rubric to understand what you will be assessed on. Your report can be no longer than five minutes.
